Tumour Surgery

Our consultants have a special interest in the treatment of patients with bone and soft tissue tumours. The London Sarcoma Unit is one of the largest of its kind in Europe and one of the two main centres in the UK, seeing over 1200 patients each year. It is based at The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital and University College Hospital where our consultants have their NHS practises. The unit provides a comprehensive service to patients of all ages from the first consultation, through to investigation, definitive treatment and follow-up. It has an international reputation for providing high quality care to sarcoma patients, and the surgeons are pioneers of limb salvage surgery. They are happy to treat patients at Spire Hospital, Bushey. Further information can be found on the The London Sarcoma Unit website.
